It’s hard to believe the first quarter of 2023 is already coming to a close. These first few months of the year have flown by! As we round the corner on April 1st, this is a time when we would typically expect the new NCCI edit files from CMS to see what’s new for next quarter.
If you haven’t heard yet, CMS made an important and somewhat historic announcement a few weeks ago and has advised that there will be no Q2 2023 publication of the NCCI edit files, and we should continue to use the Q1 2023 edit files until new files become available in the third quarter of the year.
